Faculty course loads and class sizes in Web-based criminology- and criminal justice-related instructional offerings should be consistent with those in non-Web-based programs at the offering institution.

The offering institution must provide faculty support services specifically related to teaching via a Web-based system.

The institution must assure appropriate training for faculty members who teach using web-based electronic technology.

The program or for-credit course must provide adequate equipment, software and communication to faculty for Web-based electronic interaction with students, institutions and other faculty.

Policies for faculty evaluation must include appropriate recognition of teaching and scholarly activities related to programs or courses offered electronically via the Web.
